
ABOUT
Hi there. I’m a certified Health Coach and Life Coach and mother of two boys.
I struggled with my weight since my late teens, constantly on diets and trying to find a solution that actually worked.
After my second son was born (and during Covid lockdowns), I was the heaviest I had ever been.
I tried everything to lose the weight and nothing was working.
From Weight Watchers and Prolon, to counting macros with a personal trainer and Whole 30, through to meal delivery services and juice cleanses.
Nothing worked and I felt hopeless.
I wanted food and alcohol to be easy and normal like it seemed to be for other people!
I wanted to be off the diet hamster wheel and feel good in myself.
COACHING
My sister told me about a way of losing weight with coaching that looked at what you eat but also addressed why you eat.
Coaching teaches that if how we eat (and drink) is a symptom of how we think and react to our emotions, we have to focus on those things in order to change our behaviours at the root.
Less about the food, more about what’s driving us to eat the food!
Everything started to make sense.
I finally saw that I had been using food and alcohol to cope, escape, or revel, in almost every emotion and in doing that, I’d learnt behaviours that didn’t serve me.
I wanted to change for good.
WHAT HAPPENED next?
Once I got going with the coaching tools, I started losing weight and feeling so much better that I wondered how I hadn’t discovered this way before!
It was intuitive to keep going.
I immersed myself in all that coaching had to offer and was blown away by the results.
I lost 35lbs and have kept it off.
No more dieting or worrying!
I’ve improved all of my relationships, my sense of worth and purpose, and strengthened my emotional management.
It was life-changing.
I feel the most relaxed I’ve ever felt about eating and drinking.
I love the relationship I have with myself — one where I feel strongly equipped to handle whatever comes my way without reaching for food or alcohol.
I knew I had to share these tools with more women who are sick of dieting, and want to feel better in their bodies and about their eating and drinking habits.
I certified as a Life Coach with the school that taught me how to do it and gained a diploma in Health Coaching from the College of Naturopathic Medicine to compliment my skill set.
